Harsh – surely you wouldn’t wish that on any home nation?

Heh, you’ll need to educate me in how to use it correctly.

On this performance alone, yes. On routine if unspectacular victories over Perth and Jets, difficult to tell if the Wanderers’ defence is as strong as their results suggest. They certainly were found out in this one.
Individual errors costly as Wanderers self-destruct in first loss of 2022-23
Borrello did a lot of work to be fair, Ninkovic is still on another level, but he did give that ball away for the third goal. Was Yengi injured? I missed that news.
Individual errors costly as Wanderers self-destruct in first loss of 2022-23
I had tipped Wanderers to continue their mean streak, but they were no match in the end for a well-drilled and enthusiastic Mariners team. Kaltik at the back was immense. Silvera was busy when he came on, Tulio put a shift in, there was not a weak link in the Central Coast team. Tip against the Coasties at your peril from now on.

I’d love to know what the style of play purports to be at Sydney FC.
Individual errors costly as Wanderers self-destruct in first loss of 2022-23
You’d still have to fancy the Wanderers over Sydney FC. The Sky Blues are weak.

In Tony we trust. I don’t think we have an option.

Plenty of good Australian books coming out via Fair Play Publishing. PJ Laverty has a fiction novel out soon called The Gaffer. Check out their website if you’re looking for a good read, there’s quite a catalogue there now.
What is the best football book ever? (part 2)
Plenty more Texi Smith titles out there too! Give Anna Black – This Girl Can Play a go, now that we’re less than a year out from out very own World Cup. Thanks for the mention.

Just needs someone to open a selective academy that’s free to participants. Perhaps funded by an overseas club looking for talent. When that reaps rewards, others would need to follow suit. And all the best talent would drain away overseas… but it does anyway.

The Roar's A-League Men tips and predictions: Match Week 6
Remember there’s draws too! If this was a World Cup knock out stage, that would be right. It’s bloody hard this! If you had 33% draws, then you’d have 66% chance of getting it wrong, whatever you pick. That probably doesn’t make any mathematical sense, feel free to rubbish me in the comments.

The Roar's A-League Men tips and predictions: Match Week 3
This is going to be one hell of a round. Weather will wreak havoc. Strange things will happen, fluke goals will be scored, mistakes will be made, but we know that the A-League will deliver.
The Roar's A-League Men's tips and predictions: Round 2
Well written Ian Nacho. As a long-suffering, life-long Newcastle fan, you can try as much as you like, but I’m having this moment. Ask any rational Toon fan and they’ll be with you in despair at the funny money coming in to the EPL, however if it has to be our club and it has to be at the expense of a horrible owner, so be it. Looking forward to more of your writing on the Roar.
